Stillwater, Minnesota has been voted as: America’s Most Picturesque Small Towns, Best U.S. Towns for Antiquing, Best Minnesota Weekend Getaway, America’s Prettiest Painted Places, and Most Romantic Cities. Stillwater is also located on the National Scenic St. Croix Riverway, St. Croix Scenic Byway, and National Register of Historic Places. A place where authentic paddle wheel riverboats and gondolas glide the waters. Historic Main Street shopping boasts over 60 unique independent owner-operated stores – fashion forward clothing boutiques, art galleries, culinary specialty shops, gift stores, home decor, antique shops and vintage furniture shops sprinkled with delightful cafes, wineries, breweries, salons and nightlife all nestled at the edge of the scenic St. Croix River.
DAY 1 – We’ll begin with an introduction to historic Stillwater aboard a narrated trolley tour of the hills and narrow streets. We’ll then let you lose downtown to shop and eat lunch on your own. Next we check into our hotel – Hotel Crosby. Hotel Crosby is located on the hip-storic Main Street, where the sidewalks come alive! Featuring a spa, roof-top hot tub, tapas restaurant, and lounge Hotel Crosby is the perfect place to both relax and play. In the evening we will board an authentic Paddlewheel boat for a fabulous dinner cruise on the scenic St. Croix River.
DAY 2 – Feel free to relax and enjoy the amenities of Hotel Crosby then walk out the front door to all that downtown Stillwater has to offer. You are free to do as you please until we depart at 3:00 PM. If you feel like you experienced enough of Stillwater (unlikely) we will offer an optional trip to the Mall of America where you’ll have 4 hours to shop and explore this incredible shopping complex.
A $100 deposit per person is required to hold a spot. Balance is due April 10, 2022. Moderate walking.
